They were friends, but never dated and went their separate ways at graduation. They were both in the National Honor Society. Sometimes it takes 48 years to find your true love.īrenda Simmons and Leroy Hutchins, both 62, met in 1964 when they were both 10th-graders at New Stanton High School.
